Livraria Lello is a more-than-a-century-old and emblematic bookstore of Oporto, Portugal. The historic and architectural value of its’ presence in the City is indispensable and, it was up to Fullscreen to redesign the look of its’ presence in the Digital World.
Although the brand already had a corporate website and online store, it decided to invest in a more omnichannel presence.
Fullscreen developed an ambitious project, which implied a strong interaction between the company’s various teams, and an immersive experience on the essence and operation of the bookstore. For this, the Fullscreen team visited the bookstore, and collected photographic records, in order to understand the flow of the bookstore.
The project had as its’ maximum goal to answer all of Lello’s needs and, so, the entire design was built based on a Resource Mix Client-Fullscreen. This way, all of the functional and visual aspects of the website were developed in a customized way and focused on a good user-experience.
The website was developed on our StudioCMS platform, a CMS software by Fullscreen. This tool enables the adjustment to any type of UI/UX, a free and responsive content management, an advanced SEO optimization, and makes the client nearly autonomous when it comes to inserting and managing content. This platform allows the integration with other Information Systems. The deep knowledge of the platform, allows Fullscreen to fully customize the websites, in order to answer the whole of the client’s needs.
This website, fully integrated with the Online Store, had, as challenge, the Bidirectional Integration of the Sales Cycle. Besides, it was integrated, the Email Marketing platform E-Goi, in order to email the Newsletter.
The use of StudioCMS, on the development of Livraria Lello’s website, enabled the achievement of an excellent result and the answer to all of the client’s needs.
A 100% responsive layout was designed, with simple, appealing and clean visual, which grants the brand a modern and sophisticated look, while maintaining the culture and tradition of the Bookstore. The simple and organized menu guides the user correctly through the sitemap.
The online store contains a customized search system, according to the user’s mood, a refined search that grants a unique user-experience, providing adequate recommendations.
It was also developed a ticket-line system, for the sale of “Ticket-Vouchers”, for the entry on the bookstore, which can be bought on the Online Store, or on the entrance of the bookstore.
Besides this, the website contains an informative and interactive area, in which the user can learn about the history of Lello, find everything it needs to know to visit the Bookstore, learn all of the news about the Lello world and, in addition, know how to become a Lello “Friend” or “Patron”.
The website is available in 2 languages, Portuguese and English, contains a form to register on the Newsletter and links to the company’s social platforms, so that the user can be aware of all the news.
