A NEW OUTLOOK 2016 ERROR, AFTER THE LAST UPDATE AVAILABLE ON FEBRUARY 16, 2016, IS CAUSING PROBLEMS TO WHO HAS YOUR MAIL ACCOUNT SET UP AS POP3.
Confirm that you have Outlook version 16.0.6568.2025 and verify that you are affected by this bug:
- If you have enabled the “leave a copy of messages on server” option, Outlook may actually be deleting your messages from the server.
- And if you also enabled the “remove from server after x days” option, downloaded messages may be appearing in duplicate in Outlook.

Switch your account from POP3 to IMAP or Revert to an earlier version of Outlook 2016.
